The CIRCLE represents the concept of holistic development.  The CHILD is the focus of the seal, although placed at the lowermost and signifying a youth looking up to God as the ultimate goal and destination of all endeavors. 

PARENT and MENTOR are placed in parallel positions on the side to symbolize their roles in guiding and leading the CHILD.  The parallelism is an equation of the duties and responsibilities of each and signifies the importance of working hand in hand for the fulfillment of the CHILD. 

The open BOOK super-imposed on the LAMP represents KNOWLEDGE and WISDOM that RSELC aims to inculcate to the CHILD appropriate to his/ her intellectual capabilities. 

 The LAMP symbolizes the light of truth and guidance. 

 The official colors of RSELC are GREEN, WHITE and YELLOW.  Green for freshness and verdancy-  a promise of an ever-flourishing growth.  White denotes purity of purpose in the pursuit of truth and wisdom.  Yellow signifies the ever-burning fire in the hearts of the parents, mentors and pupils/students
